ABOUT FORT KNOX ANTIQUITIES

Fort Knox Antiquities is a large, 2400 Square feet ancient art gallery open to the public. We are located in the heart of the Scottsdale, Arizona gallery district. We have hundreds of items on display, most of which are not listed on our web site. We are located at 7056 E. Main St. Suite B. Scottsdale, Arizona 85251. We are closed Sundays and Mondays. We have supplied collectors and museums around the world with numerous artifacts for display. We currently have a huge amount of inventory avalible ranging from Pre-Columbian, Egyptian, Middle Eastern, Roman, Native American both historic and pre-historic and Greek artifacts. We have also purchased several important collections and museums and pass the pieces onto you. We are always buying legally obtained artifacts and Navajo jewlery and rugs.

IS IT REAL?

Fort Knox Antiquities will do online appraisals of your pieces and let you know it true value and if it is real at no cost. At times we will require you send the artifact to us so that it can be authenticated. We purchase collections of antiquities and American coins, consignments are available. We have worked with several museums doing appraisals and authentication across the country. We carry artifacts ranging in value from $10.00 up to $150,000.00.

IS IT LEGAL?

Not only do buyers in todays antiquities market need to be concerned with authentication, but also they must be concerned with how the antiquity was obtained and imported. Entire collections can be seized and the owners jailed if antiquities were illegaly imported into the United States. We guarantee all items sold by Fort Knox Antiquities have not been stolen, forged, or restored, without being so stated, and further that items offered have not been excavated, purchased, traded or sold in violation of 1 {The Federal Antiquities Act of 1906, 2 {The Archaeological Resources Protection Act of 1979 {Indian Reservations, B.I.M., National Forests, National Parks, ect.}, 3 {State Archeological Resource Protection Acts {to include all state lands}, 4 {State imposed regulations to Archaeological excavations on private deeded property, and further that the seller, Fort Knox Antiquities of the sold item has legal title to the property, such that, legal title transfers to and vests in the ultimate purchaser of the property. What does all this mean? Well it means that we not only stand behind our products authenticity for life, but we also guarantee that it is a legally obtained piece so that when you buy it from us it is yours for life.
